What's different to other agencies advanced nitrox?
Many agencies have different standards and views on training Nitrox Divers and many of the Sports agencies now claim to have Advanced Nitrox, but be careful before you decide, look at their standards, what is included in their programs for certification? It your choice remember....

Advanced Ntech Nitrox Diver
Advanced Nitrox Technical Diver
This program is all about going to the next level and entry is
therefore restricted to any agency Advanced Nitrox Divers, Decompression Divers
or ITDA Ntech Technical Nitrox Divers (Sports divers may NOT enter this
decompression program without the previous training experience and certification
- NO EXCEPTIONS). Minimum dive experience to enter
this level is 60 Open water dives

About Advanced Ntech Training
Advanced Ntech is about taking all of the basic skills you have learned and
building on them to attain a really Advanced Level Certification and also
industry status as a "Technical Diver".
- Theory: Advanced Decompression Theory (Physics, Physiology and Gas Management) Custom Mixes in Dive Planning (will require your laptop or Pad Computer) - Risks Assessment - Safe Deep Diving - Rescue Theory and Oxygen First Aid or ITDA IHMP Dive Medic - Equipment (multiple Cylinder Configuration) - Gas Blending Basics - Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine.
- Practical Skills/Drills and Assessments: 6 Open Water Dives, Dive 1 is an assessment dive to 40m/132ft. With a Rescue Evaluation on ascending from 40m/132ft. All other dive are custom mixes to planned depths with emergency procedure and practice on at least three dives below 40m/132ft. Maximum depth on Air for the program is 60m/200ft. and maximum Decompression mix is 80% Oxygen... (higher mixes maybe used under the direction of the instructor but safety margins MUST not be compromised...
- This level of certification cannot be combined with any other levels of certification as 100% attention is required from the diver to pass this level.
Who can teach, Train & Certify?
Only ITDA Group or Other Agency "Approved" Advanced Ntech Nitrox Technical Instructors may train and certify this level... This level is an Advanced Technical Diver Training Certification. Instructor will have a current ITDA Group International or Regional office issued ID Card See: ITDA Group Card Security page... and always look for our unique Holographic sticker...
Risks and Hazards
Advanced Technical training can be dangerous
Although Advanced Technical Diving can be very dangerous we do everything possible to make this challenging level as safe as possible... However as will all risk there is always "Danger"... Before engaging in any form of higher level training that involves higher degrees of stress and physical fitness, you MUST be prepared...
Both mental and Physical health requirements for Advanced Technical diving and many other ITDA Group Programs MUST be high... You should never dive or engage in training if your are not feeling 100% Fit both in Mind and Body....
Most accidents occur because of a lack of judgment or an error that could easily have been avoided... If your instructor considers you are unfit to dive you will NOT be permitted to dive! Other agencies may allow you but our first priority is for your safety and we will NOT compromise on standards...
