Why modular Training systems?
The process of modular training is very simple and work very well.
The principle is that we can take a complex subject and then break it down into component parts each of which form a modules. Therefore making quite complex training small and easier to manage, both from an Instructional view and for the student.

Very simply because our training programs are written by Diving Medical Specialists and Trauma Hyperbaric Doctors.
So our programs are not just general First Aid related to Diving injuries, they are about diving injuries and covering also general First Aid.

About IHMP Training Modules
IHMP Modules may be taught and Certified as standalone training and certification programs, or they may be integrated with other ITDA Group or IHMP Medical Training Programs:
At present the modules include:
- ITDA-IHMP Diving Accident & Management Program
- Risk Assessment & Accident Prevention
- Decompression Theory, Physiology & Dive Planning
- CPR First Aid
- Oxygen First Aid
- AED First Aid - Advanced Life Support
- Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine
Each module comes with a manual / workbook; As study notes, available to buy here on-line. The training may vary from one half day (1/2 day) to 1 full day or more depending on the number of students.
Assessments are a combination of practical exercise and demonstrations, with Instructor administered Tests/Quizzes. All are low stress learning...
The ITDA/IHMP DIVE MEDIC FIRST-AID PROGRAM IS UNIQUE
Being the Only program of its kind written specifically for divers only, concentrating on General Accidents and Diving Industry Specific Risks and Hazards, plus education on diving activities "RISKS ASSESSMENT" and dealing with general first responder techniques. See details overview below.

IHMP Dive Medic First Aid. - New 1 Day Program. For any divers from any agency who need to understand the basics of diving first aid and first responder care for diving accidents.
Includes: Oxygen Administration and Optional *AED (Auto External Defibrillation) use.
Primary causes of Diving accidents - DCS and DCI. with
primary care and emergency response.
