CPR?
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)
The sad facts are that CPR Alone is effective less then 15% of the time. But with early CPR and the use of an AED Device, the recovery rate is increased to 80%+.... I am not sure which odds you would prefer but I know I have access at all times to an AED Device...

What is Hyperbaric training?

Definition...Of, relating to, producing, operating, or occurring at pressures higher than normal atmospheric pressure:
Hyperbaric Training then is concerned with the treatment of
diving injuries using high pressure, in a
chamber, to reduce the bubble size of possible gas expanding in our
blood and tissues after a serious diving accident.
ITDA-IHMP Offers the Following Hyperbariac Training and experience programs
- Hyperbaric Experience Program (IHMP-HEP): 1/2 Day, Presentation about diving Injuries causes and prevention, presentation on emergency first aid, followed by a tour of a hyperbaric chamber/facility and a Dry Dive in a Hyperbaric chamber. (Experience Only program with a certificate)
- Chamber Operations Course (IHMP-COC): 6 Days (40+ Contact hours) Modules Include: History Of Hyperbaric Medicine, Diving Accident Management, Decompression Theory, Prevent & Treatment of Diving Injuries (barotruma)
- Dive Medic Technician Program (IHMP-DMTP): As chamber operations above plus 1 day extra as DMT Orientation program. Only availabe to EMT's taking the Chamber program. (from EMT Basic.)
Hyperbaric Training & Certification
Our Hyperbaric Course program is designed to meet both Industry standards for professional divers (Who may need to operate chambers as a normal procedure from Saturation Diving) and also for Medical Training standards for those required to hold a certification for treatment facilities / operations of diving injuries.
