The sad facts are that CPR Alone is effective less then 15% of the time. But with early CPR and the use of an AED Device, the recovery rate is increased to 80%+.... I am not sure which odds you would prefer but I know I have access at all times to an AED Device...

Renewal
Dive Medic as a rating is required to be revewed every two years
Because the laws in most Countries require CPR Training to be renewed around every two (2) yeras, and due to the fact that skills may be lost if not practiced for some time and standards may change. Therefor this certification is renewable.
Renewal process is very simple and low cost... Just 1/2 a day 3-4 hours refresher programs and CPR Practice. Then you may apply for a renewal card.... Cards are dated with a valid to date... And carry the unique ITDA Group Holographic seal.

About IHMP Dive Medic First Aid
This unique ITDA - IHMP Program was developed by Hyperbaric DMT Trainers to offer the diving community a specific first aid training program for divers... This is not a general first aid program and is ONLY focused on diving and marine environment injuries... It is not suitable as a general first program. It is a "Specialist Medically Orientated Program for those who may come into contact with diving accidents or injuries.
IHMP Dive Medic First Aid
The IHMP Dive Medic program is more than just a first aid program for divers, as the title "Dive Medic" suggests, it is a medically orientated program which will be both challenging and rewarding for those taking it. The ITDA_IHMP Program requires pre-study program of theory (6-8hrs) for 1 day program, or 2 Day full program no pre-study time.

- Primary Assessment and Primary Care
- Emergency First Aid and Oxygen Administration
- Airway Management - Pocket Mask and BVM use.
- Introduction to Advanced Life Support
- Making a Dive Accident Report
- Standards and Procedures in Diving Accidents
The
learning environment is designed to be low stress and there is an 80% practical
assessment based on actual skills application and evaluation during the
instruction led demonstrations. Plus a theory test/quiz

IHMP Dive Medic First Aid. - New 1 Day Program. For any divers from any agency who need to understand the basics of diving first aid and first responder care for diving accidents.
