ITDA Group Master Instructors may also apply to become IHMP Training Directors by attending an ITDA Group HQ sanctioned Course or by application on experience.

The ITDA Group will endorse and allow Technical Trainers from any Agencies to apply also for the rating based on experience and qualifications.

ITDA Group Supports and encourages Multi Agency and our Master Instructor and all other ITDA Instructor levels are NOT Tied into single Agency agreements or Contracts... We ask Only that you sign a standards agreement and when Training ITDA Group Programs you will use our standards... That's it!... NO TIES....
Master Instructor
Highest Instructor Level in ITDA Group System
About ITDA Group Master Instructor
This level can only be attained by being a Specialist Instructor Trainer in a minimum of five (5) Disciplines/Specialist Subjects and having been an Instructor trainer for at least two (2) years, and having been staff at a minimum of 10 Instructor Courses.
How to become a Master
Of Course firstly you must meet the experience requirements above and then you may apply by formal registration for the Title of Master Instructor from ITDA Group HQ. Some Regional Offices may be permitted to make "Master Instructors". At present Only ITDA South East Asia is permitted.
What can A Master Instructor Do?
Master Instructors may train and Certify Instructor Specialist Ratings in Sports and Technical Diving as they are qualified and authorized to do by ITDA Group HQ.
Master Instructors may also act as Assessors on Instructor Training Programs and may certify Advanced Instructor levels with a Course Director or Assessor Examiner.
An Experienced Master Instructor may make an Application to ITDA Group HQ to attend our Course Director Training Program.
