About ITDA Higher Education

ITDA Group International has developed a series of Higher education programs for diving to be taught as a combination of both academic and Instructional courses but offering the diving community a formal qualification in diving and we are currently in discussions with a number of higher education establishments to develop our academic qualifications for the diving industry.

We begin with a Certificate in Diving aimed at Basic to Intermediate knowledge and skills level to the Advanced Certificate in diving and finally the Diploma, representing Leadership levels, offering diving professionals and occupational and commercial diving personnel, divers, support teams, and supervisors a path to Higher Education in diving.

Qualifications with credits for prior learning - Skills & Abilities and Experience
Certificate - Diploma - Degree - Bachelors - Masters and Doctorate

ITDA Higher Education Levels

Due mainly to the unusual nature of the diving industry, unlike many other professions, diving has never really been included in mainstream or even periphery academic qualifications.

We aim to change this and have for the past two years been developing higher education programs that will be accepted by some of the worlds top universities and colleges... And will represent the future foundation for safer diver training and qualification.

ITDA Qualifications

ITDA offer membership of its professional body based on your current level of training and experience and membership is open to divers and professional from all agencies and any background. We are developing a new series of membership levels in line with our higher education programs in order that we can encourage industry wide recognition of our professional levels... In the very near future we can foresee a real requirement from industry and governments wanting professional divers to all be accepted at the same level with standardized academic qualifications as well as the current industry accepted certifications. So that Professional Divers from anywhere in the world can be equally recognized and accepted with their qualifications in diving education and training, this is just one of the aims of the ITDA Higher Education Team.
