Scuba Diving
What's the difference between Scuba and Sports Diving?
The simple answer is NONE, SCUBA Stands for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus and refers to the life support equipment we use to dive, known as the Scuba Unit... Comprised of: The Regulator, 1st and 2nd Stages, Cylinder/Scuba tank for Air/Nitrox and the BCD or Stab Jacket.
Generally all recreational diving as non decompression diving is referred to as "Sports Diving"...

About ITDA Group Sports Diver Training
The ITDA Group are unique
in developing the Highest Safety standards for our sports diving programs from
entry level to advanced, specialist and leadership diving certifications and
Professional Diving.
Our Training and Certification Programs are very different from other training agencies in three (3) major ways:

We offer More Theory and academic Knowledge including "Decompression Theory".

We offer more "Practical Training", more "Skills" and and more "Experience Dives".

We offer more flexibility and choice in training methods and our unique continuous assessment and evaluation Process. See Certifications
We also offer a different approach to our training levels than other agencies, with crossover levels and upgrade paths offering less expensive and more logical paths to leadership levels and beyond...

our Higher Education Programs with a certificate in diving at two levels and a
Diploma program for leadership and Instructor levels.

We offer a flexible and unique package to reach each
level, slowly progressing skills development and advanced theory at the students
pace and comfort levels... And NOT rapid fast track like some other agencies...
However if you feel that you are able and happy to fast track we can accommodate
this style of training and certification... But there is no pressure to be
"Moved" quickly through our course programs...

About Our Sports Diver Program
ITDA Sports Diver is a very high standard and to become an ITDA Sports Diver you will need to complete a minimum of six(6) Open Water dives. 8 hours of theory study and perform a rescue.
