 About Nitrox Diving

We offer a unique series of Nitrox training and certification programs from Basic Nitrox to the ITDA Ntech Programs using Nitrox as a Deco Gas and Travel Mix for Extended Diving Times and also high mix Oxygen to 100% for accelerated Decompression.

ITDA Group Ntech Nitrox Training & Certification Program at a glance!

  • Basic Nitrox - 32% and 36% O2 (Non-Deco)
  • Nitrox Diver to 40% O2 (Non-Deco)
  • Ntech Nitrox Bronze Level - Basic Nitrox Plus Deco Theory but Non Deco Diving
  • The Ntech Nitrox Sports program is 4 Dives, on mixes of: 27% - 32% - 36% and 40% (Non Deco diving)
  • Ntech Nitrox Silver Level - Mixes to 40% Limited Deco Program (Entry level Technical Program - Decompression Diving)
  • Silver Ntech uses up to 40% Nitrox as a Decompression Gas and requires 6 Decompression dives... Entry Level Technical
  • Ntech Nitrox Gold/Tech Level - Deco on Nitrox as staged gases to 80% Full Deco Program.  Technical Nitrox...  Sports Level is to 50%
  • Gold Ntech is up to 80% Nitrox mix (Deco Gas) and requires also 6 Decompression dives

 ITDA Group Ntech Programs

ITDA Group Certified Resort Divers may take the ITDA Technical Diving Ntech Bronze and Silver (Advanced Nitrox) Levels... (As with Open Water and above, any agency)

 

  Basic Nitrox is half a day, just 4-5 Hours, and two training dives, one on a 32% Mix and one on a 36% Mix. Approx 2 hours of theory... The ITDA Ntech Manual and presentations must be used...  Link to Ntech Manual on-line

  ITDA Resort Divers and Any Agency Sports or Open Water Divers may take our Sports Nitrox and Advanced Sports Nitrox non-decompression scheduled training... For the Advanced Nitrox level divers will need to be Nitrox certified (any agency)

After certification and experience Nitrox divers may upgrade to the ITDA Group Technical Ntech Nitrox and Entry Level Trimix programs...
