 Assessment Process

ITDA Group International - Standards Assessment

Unique ITDA Group Assessment

3 Part Certification Process - Part 3 is our Assessment Level.

Level 3. Assessment process is ONLY achieved after level1. Dive Theory and Level 2. Skills Development...

 Demonstration

The student MUST demonstrate back to the Instructor the skills they have learned in each module at least three(3) times, at which point they will be graded on their ability to perform the task and on their "Comfort" level. They will be given an optional skills demonstration with a review from the Instructor to make up their grade if it is not a pass the first time....

 Final Evaluation

The students are ONLY "Evaluated" for their final Demonstration grade after they are happy with their performance, there is No pressure from the Instructor to "Push" students quickly through skills...  The evaluation process is fair and unbiased... Students are evaluated to their personal "comfort Levels", based on our safety requirements for the certification level to meet our standards.

 Certification

Minimum Requirements to Meet Certification Standards

We are very lucky at ITDA Group because we give our "Professionals" a large degree of control over the certification process and our cards have a "special area "for "RESTRICTIONS"... If for example a "Resort Diving", student can perform all of the skills required for certification as a "RESORT DIVER" but has a problem with narcosis at 18m/60ft. The Instructor may still issue the certification but with a 18m/60ft. Depth Restriction, instead of the normal 20m/66ft. Depth for ITDA Resort Divers.

Other restrictions may also be imposed on Medical grounds, such as the use of "Nitrox Only", for shallow dives.
